3D Scans, Digital X-Rays & the Intraoral Camera
With advanced imaging technology, Dr. Cech is able to see more detailed anatomy for diagnostics and treatment purposes. 3D scans present a clear picture of your teeth, their supporting bone, upper and lower jaws as well as your sinuses. Dr. Cech and her team often use 2D digital X-rays to diagnose decay and some gum conditions. The 3D scans also enable Dr. Cech to determine the placement of implants for teeth that are missing or unrestorable.
SureSmile Aligner
Digital impressions are taken in our office and sent electronically to a US-based SureSmile laboratory where custom liners are developed. Together, you and Dr. Cech discuss the plan of movement, how it will look when completed, and the amount of time needed for treatment. Upon your approval, the aligners are fabricated and used at home regularly for safe and accurate movement. These hassle free aligners take all the discomfort, unsightly metal wires, and brackets out of orthodontic treatment. This treatment method has become one of our favorites to plan for (and see amazing results!).
